The University of Southern Indiana has undergone a major transformation in academic programs and in instructional and support facilities. The University is accredited for ten years at the associate's, baccalaureate, master's and doctoral levels by The Higher Learning Commission. Programs in accounting, art, business, chemistry, education, engineering, health professions, sport management and social work are accredited by the appropriate professional organizations and state agencies. Accreditation reviews by regional and discipline-based organizations continue to be prime indicators of quality.
Students in certain majors are required to pass licensure or certification exams within a specified time frame for employment after graduation.
